ECHOES

ECHOES is a series of FREE creative workshops inspired by myths, perfect for children aged 6–14 and their grown-ups.

Families are invited to participate in a series of craft and storytelling events in the West Midlands, led by performance artists Sipho Eric Ndlovu, Pyn Stockman, and Charis McRoberts. These workshops will explore global myths to engage young participants and inspire them to generate fresh ideas for these ancient tales. Through creative play and conversations, they will also contribute to three new performances by our resident artists. These performances will be showcased at a celebration event at Birmingham Main Library on October 17th, allowing our young people to be the next step in a tradition of storytelling that is thousands of years old.

MYTH TODAY is working in partnership with Birmingham Libraries, Sandwell Libraries, Culture Forward, Birmingham and Midlands Classical Association (BMCA) and Mrs History.
